DJI tells you that that it will take 1-2 weeks for your order to ship and once they have your money they take a month+ These people have really messed up my Christmas. I ordered a Phantom 4 pro+ with the nice controler on the 5th of december and I'm told it will ship on Jan 9th of next year. I also see on amazon that I could have one of these maybe in 48 hours. Has anyone tried ordering their new drone on Amazon or someplace other than DJI?

Ok so if this is the case you yourself checked my order and told me this below and after which DJI took payment from my bank on the 5th Of Dec and after that I was told by Mindy that it wouldn't ship until the 23rd because of the extra batteries! Then online chat tells me it won't ship until the 22nd!!!I have emailed customer support a week ago and they said they would help me they have forwarded my emails to online sales and I have sent further emails even offering to pay extra shipping to get my order before I leave for vacation.....I now see others who have ordered the same time or before me with extra batteries have shipped and to really rub it in DJI are also now doing a Xmas promo offering the high capacity batteries and shipping within 1 to 2 weeks!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON?

This was the answer I needed and I thank you for your response. Ends up the filters I ordered with the drone are what held up my order and because of your awesome and appropriate response I will most likely have the drone in time for Christmas.

I'm new to this forum - what is the etiquette in trying to find out a ship date on my product? I posted my request with order # in other existing shipping-related threads previously but got no response. I feel bad if I am hijacking someone else's thread here, but I hesitate to create a new thread since the forum rules ask that we post in related topics if they exist. I also tried using the online chat, but they say they have no idea when it will ship...which seems strange to not be able to give approximate shipping dates.

Unfortunately his forum was not designed to answer these types of questions. You are more likely to get an answer dealing with the standard customer service platforms. If one of the customer service reps sees your post, there is a chance of it being escallated, though.

Dude, although I appreciate you giving me another reason to be grateful I can’t say I think this is an appropriate response.  Under the premise outlined in your message I shouldn’t even have a drone. I should probably be sending money to help others in "Syria". I’ll admit these are first world problems and I’m happy to only have those kinds of issues in my life. Happy New Year to you.

Big thanks to the person who answered my question giving me the knowledge needed to modify my order to get it faster!

Online chat, email, telephone are our 3 platforms of customer support. Sorry you didn't get the help you needed in chat. Shipping information isn't the easiest to gain or give out, so our support staff's knowledge is sometimes limited.

Come on now....if I was was to go to DJI online store now and purchase the phantom 4 pro + with additional batteries it clearly says shipping within 5 to 7 days of order confirmation, well I had order confirmation a month ago now and my payment was taken on the 5th of Dec so why do you keep feeding me blatant lies, You know exactly what is going on as you have shown many times before giving other customers shipping info,
So where is my order?

0440983181902 is expected to be shipped in next week because the extra battery makes the shipping delayed.

I originally tried Amazaon.  They froze shipments until 15 January.  They also tacked on tax when DJI has that included.  Luckily we had prime.  We tried to resolve the tax issue with Amazon (hours, multiple phone calls and lots of email.)  I cancelled the order with Amazon.

I am in the same boat now.  I ordered my  P4P+ on 5 Dec and my credit card was charged.  The status changed to shipped last week but so far no tracking number.  When I ordered it said shipping in 1-2 weeks and we are outside of that window.  I did not order filters, batteries.  I did order the refresh but that should not slow things down.  How do I get a tracking number.  Not here - http://store.dji.com/orders/tracking  Order number 0014588802729

Natalia, My account was charged on 1/4/17 for an order placed on 12/30/16 but the order has not moved to shipped status yet.  This does not correspond to your response above.  My order number is 0017986740625 and I have 2 emailos that requesting a ship date that have not been responded to.  The request numbers are 347790 and 385018.  You seem to be the best one for looking into DJI issues - can you help?
