I know one is more expensive that the other, but what is the better option? I'm not bothered about the cost as such, and I don't want to purposely fly out of sight either, so don't flame me, I just want to give my setup the best chance of maintaining signal.

Or is there's something out there that is better, then please comment.

You probably won't get much support here regarding modifying the controller and adding other antennas I personally would go with Argtek rather than just the Parabolic Range Extenders but it is a lot of work and voids your warranty

Yep, watched the install video, I thin I'll pass an just get the parabolics.. not harm in trying them eh

It's a shame DJI don't install SMA adapters onto their antennas so we don't have to do it but that's there way of making us pay more.

Parabolics work, they're cheaper, and they don't void warranty

Do not under any circumstances get an Arctic I got one with High Hopes I got 500 feet with it I got 1500 with stock then I bought a DBS mod I now get 3600 feet. If you're worried about voiding the warranty by a second controller and install it on that

NO!  argtec its junk

The standard setup is quite capable of reaching far beyond the distance you can see and thus far beyond the legal UK distance for flight.  If you put parabolic reflectors on then it becomes directional so if you turn to put the screen in shadow so that you can see what is on the screen, you may no longer have a connection.   I think you may be causing problems in return for solving a problem that does not exist!
