Well what do you think?  Since DJI has royally done a disservice to many of it's retailers by not supplying any stock to them (eg. Best Buy Canada's Release Dates of 'Oct 15/30, Nov 15/Dec 1/15/31 and now....you guessed it Jan 15th) do you think they should annouce compensation like this?

I for one lost out on 3 trip opportunities since Nov. Ordered accessories at US $ to ensure I'm set up for my (then final) release date of Nov 15th.  And this monday lost out on opportunity to buy one on Amazon.ca (they had stock) but I held off b/c BB confirmed I'd have it no later than Jan 2-3 and lost the buy; and another trip again!

Personally I'd rather have my drone sooner than compensation like this, but enough is enough DJI!!!  Everyone knows what GoPro/Karma users were given for their mistake (GoPro5)....

It would be a nice gesture.

But LOL at a free GoPro when you likely have no chance of ever getting a drone.  Personally I'd rather get nothing for free and a drone that works than no drone and a free camera.

Well its a misleading title for a start
I have had my Mavic Combo for 3 weeks, pre-ordered direct from DJI.
So, no, I don't expect any form of compensation from DJI.

About as 'misleading' as DJI's November announcement "Shipping Update"....should read "Why we aren't really shipping".!!!  Of course thats all changed now that they've announced orders shipped within 2 weeks from order confirmation...oh wait...DJI's not doing this either (re: thread wrt people's pre-orders NOT shipping but yet new orders are shipping.  System's still broke.

Also 3rd party retailers have been told numerous "Release Dates" from DJI...all were either lies or terribly misleading...an MY thread gets the {Misleading Title} treatment. LOL.

Seriously DJI...no compensation to 3rd Party retailers/purchasers for the botched rollout/not supplying to your retailers as promised??
