Thanks. I like the smaller town in Netherlands. Not so much for Amsterdam as nowadays I prefer to getaway from cities for my holiday.

Nowadays most of those kind of windmills are just sorta like relics from the past. They used to be for milling grain or for pumping water away from the land, to free it up for farming and living.
Most of those mills are now more tourist attractions, and houses. But some are still used to mill grain to flower to be sold as a sort of traditional flower.

Nice video. And nice to see Volendam (the town at the end, with the harbor) from the sky. I live just next to it in Edam (which has a lovely old houses as well). I'm afraid I cannot yet make these kinda videos, since I'm still waiting for my first drone, the Mavic.

Very nice video.  I visit Holland frequently, although I don't get outside of Amsterdam much.  The Dutch countryside is far more beautiful than most people realize.

I thought the perspective of the windmills was terrific.

I was last in the Netherlands in May.  Makes me ready to return again.

If you visit Amsterdam, then it's not far to get to these windmills and the harbor. Both are less than 30 minutes by bus leaving from the train station in the city center. Both are situated at different places, so to reach the one from the other is a bit longer than 30 minutes by public transport.

Nice.  Feeling inspired.

After I learned the location, I looked it up and found it amazingly close to centrum.  Maybe my next trip will be soon and I can go fly there.

Have been to Heusden and surrounding areas.  It might be interesting to fly and shoot video there.  I'm sure there are many places in Holland that are good for aerial photography.
