Take it out of Beginner Mode would help

If you're in 'P' mode turn off object avoidance and you'll go faster.  Switching to 'S'port or ATTI mode will get you even higher speeds.

What speeds are you seeing in P and S??   

FWIW, with a good tailwind, I've gone over 100 Km/h

Jwt-873 hit the nail on the head, please also ensure that the unit is out of beginner mode as well.

My P4 has hit 61.1mph in Sport...forgot what my P3P hit

I hit 50 today in sport. If in P mode with obstacle avoidance activated, the max speed it can fly is 22mph
