Hi Folks,

I have just had my Phantom 4 unlocked so I can fly in a restricted area.  I have been told by a Fly Safe Support individual on 2 occasions that Android is supported with the DJI Go 4.0 app and Phantom 4.  Even though they adversise unlocking only works on IOS, I was told Android does indeed work with the above combination.

Just curious if anyone has successfully had an area unlocked and are using a supported Android device.  There is a new option that should be available in the Go app that will allow me to download the license and unlock, but this option is not showing up even after following their instructions (up to date on AC and Controller firmware, etc).  I did send and email to support but I won't hear back from them until tomorrow due to the time change.  Was hoping to get some clarity today so I can go to the site and test.

Thanks,

I have had no problems doing this on through the Go app on iOS. Be aware that you need to have a Part 107 license to legally do this and potentially have filled out this form: https://www.faa.gov/uas/request_waiver/
