Could I use both the Phantom 4 Pro and 4 Pro + remotes with the same Phantom 4 Pro drone?  It sounds like the Plus remote will not work with some 3rd party software in the future. Thanks, John

I just got the non-plus controller because I needed 3rd party apps. I just had to pair it with the drone and it was fine. Super easy.

My buddy most commonly uses Litchi https://flylitchi.com/ on his standard P4P controller. I also just happen to not really be jonesing for 3rd party apps (perhaps in future), but I certainly can see the benefit for those that do.

Why would you need this on the P4Pro or + model?  It already comes installed.  Seems like a wasteful and potentially conflicted overlay on the DJI program. Seems like just asking for conflict issues.

DJI has an SDK for this, it's all legit. Both Litchi and Autopilot use it and it's wonderful. The P4P+ controller allows no 3rd party apps and currently doesn't even have the Ground Station app that anybody with an Android or iPhone can get. It's very lame.
