You need to bump up exposure compensation on your camera to 1.5 to 2 so the snow is not grey! Otherwise pretty cool. I won't try this though, My fav team is the 'Manchester United Football Club" -no lakes big enough to write that!

Can you explain a bit on exposure compensation for snow? Do you mean slightly overexposing the image because of "too much light"?

Yes, overexpose because your camera will record the dominant tone of the image (in this case snow) as average or 'middle grey'. The only way you can have white snow is to trick it by adjusting your exposure compensation. Google 'photographing snow' and I'm sure you'll find lots of detail on this.

Does anybody know how to delete the first couple entries in this thread. The first attempt at posting my video was gacked up and I'd like to delete that.

Hi -  You may not be able to delete the first message, since the posting is based on it. If you can't, just edited it so it says something that talks about what you were doing, with a note saying video to follow.

Now that I said all that, based on not being able to delete a message...here's how you delete (if possible). First off, you need to be on a web browser since I don't believe this is possible via the Go App. Click on the Edit icon for your posting.  You will see a link just above the save button that says "Additional Options". Click the link and you will be given the option to delete.
