Hi there,

sorry, if it has been asked before, but I am looking for a solution to a temperature / energy problem:

When I go outside in the current cold winter temperatures, my iPhone 6S tends to shut off due to the cold. This goes especially quickly, when plugged into the controller. Now, I am thinking about buying a battery sleeve for the iphone, to keep it warm and have additional battery power. However, I fear that it then might not fit into the holding brackets of the controller anymore.

Does anybody have the same issue? What battery sleeves can you recommend that work here? Any other solutions maybe?

Thank you and best regards

Max / tri

I´m serious: It´s the hotpacks You might use when U have some pain in the spine or muscle-regions to increase blood-flow to the hurt region (U should get it at every sports-shop or drugstore).

My friends use them at "offroad" skiing-tours when navigating outside the common skiing-areas and cannot keep their iPhones inside warming pockets .............

I had the same issue. Iphone 6s. My best advice is to sell it! and buy something else. Apple didn't give a crap about it and refused to replace it so I grabbed an ipad mini4 and it's been great so far.
Good luck finding a solution.

Yes, I have flown down to 8F but I  have to give the camera/gimbal time to accliminate to the cold or I get some jitters/jello.
