How many in a set? If I was a gambling man I would bet on 2. Not really a set if only 2 though.

I guess they should call it a pair. They only sell the props in pairs also.

Hi guys, they are sold in pairs (2 Pcs. 1 CW 1 CCW)  so you need to order 2 pair for 1 aircraft but for $14 that is a great deal I'd say. I have the old 1345s props that you push down and twist to lock. They work fine and DJI said if I were to upgrade my props to the locking type that I would need to replace all of the motors also. So it looks like I will be using these props for ever Ken.

I am using 1345T props and 1345T prop installation kits on  my inspire 1, they are working fine.
I have ordered 1345LS prop installation kits and will use them with my current 1345T props.

You can buy 1345T props and 1345LS prop installation kits. They are fine for your inspire 1 motors.

Who told you this? My understanding is that you can just remove the 2 screws holding down the locking plate and hub. Then screw in the new setup. Is this incorrect?

It seems the props when mounted on 1345LS mounting plates will be a few millimetres higher than the same when mounted on 1345T mounting plates. Will the aerodynamics of the Inspire be changed?

Although the 1345LS mounting mechansim looks like the same with the mounting mechansim of the Inspire 2, there is no slotted keys between the 1345T propeller and the 1345LS propeller mount. You can see the same amount of play at the end of the video @ 1:45 to 1:50 when comparing with the amount of play with the 1345T mounting system. So eventually, the problem of premature props wearing out will still be encountered. It would have been better for DJI to release props of new design with slotted keys similar to the Inspire 2 props when releasing this 1345LS mounting brackets for the Inspire 1!

     Whomever told you that you need to replace the motors is wrong, more than likely this sounds like DJI phone support Einsteins  .  Just make sure you get the proper props that go with the locks .  I just upgraded (ordered) the new locks myself and  fresh props as well.  You should place the locks at  least Twice  times a year minimum.

Either the server or the cookies on your browser might be acting up, try clearing the browser cache and see if it fixes itself.

Well my parts didn't show up today still listed as:

Expected Delivery Day:        Tuesday, February 28, 2017

The item is currently in transit to the destination as of February 25, 2017 at 5:29 pm

so it left LA on the 25 and hasn't made it to Reno yet.

Never did get mine it left LA on the Feb. 25 and was suppose to be here on the Feb. 28 but haven't been any tracking update for week. Normally only takes 2 day to get package from LA to Reno.

I received my new hubs also but they did not come with the foam inserts. I have reached out to DJI to get these sent to me before I will install them. You are correct, they are a nice improvement and look forward to finishing the job.

My props are fitting well without the foam inserts.
I guess the way to tell before installing them on the actual bird would be to assemble them without putting the actual base plate on the motor.

Thanks for the information and I will consider your suggestions. For me, my stock 1345T set up was pretty great but the (red) side was slightly loose. Not enough to put a shim on the hubs. After 150 flights it has not changed at all.

Anyway, DJI must have a good reason to include the foam inserts for the props and this is what they are doing on the Inspire 2 also.  It would be nice if DJI would comment about the purpose of the foam insets and if they can be omitted.

PS, nice work making the shims for the 1345T hubs and taking the time to share this with everyone !!

Well never did get them was schedule to be delivered on Feb. 28 but never showed up the tracking shows it left LA on the 25 but hasn't been scanned since. I went to the post office and asked what I can do I gave the tracking number and said the last time it was scanned was Feb. 25 leaving LA. The lady took the number and went in back about 5 min. later she came back and said the last time it was scanned was Feb. 25.. OK that's what I told her. She said all I can do is wait and see if it shows up.      

OMG they finally showed up yesterday put them on and the red props are loose just like everyone else.
