Yes, you can use either but you really only need DJO Go 4. It has been suggested in another thread that any new features for the P4 or Mavic might be  limited to the DJI Go 4 version

On the Tablet go to settings, then developers options and make sure the USB debugging is turned on then scroll down to USB Configuration and make sure MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)  is selected. Hope this is just your problem... Good luck.

How can I save images and videos of my phantom 4 to my mobile<not in sd card> with the dji go 4 app
