I am about to purchase a Phantom 2 with H3-3D as i own a Hero 3 GoPro and wanted to take advantage of it instead of purchasing a Drone with aditional camera. There is a big issue for me that after hours of research, I have been unable to clarify.

My main concern here is how can I control the camera while flying? Is this done using a specific app? Will i be able to rotate ? tilt ?

If by control you mean gopro settings? You have to press record before lift off and cant change them while the phantom is in the air.

Gimbal tilt up and down is controlled by the transmitter. If you want to rotate, you just have to rotate the actual phantom.

The H3-3D gimbal allows the camera to tilt.  The new Remote Control has a tilt wheel on it which will tilt the camera up or down.

only tilt can be controlled via RC & Vision APP
