At first I think cage was expensive, but when I saw the price for propeller guard I think DJI isn't really trying to hike up the price for the cage.  It felt kinda like purchasing lifeproof case for iphone.  Not everyone needs water/dust/shock proof phone case for $100.  But some people do.  So especially newbies like myself it maybe a good investment to protect $1300 (flymore combo) investement.  Although it the price came down to around $100 I would definitely order it.  Hopefully DJI will have easter sale on accessories

You also got to take into account if it will hender the flight or speed in anyway or will the shadow be prominent to affect shooting?
