Is it possible to use the bigger Ronin Battery on the Ronin MX? I mea to run the MX and not to run accesories.

Unfortunately the Classic Ronin battery cannot be the main power supply.

I do apologize for the misinformation. It's possible to use the Classic Ronin battery with the Ronin MX as the main power source, but it could potentially throw off the balance. It is however, able to be done.

Thx Jamie great news, this will be fantastic for doing pano shots with the ronin mx.
If the Ronin battery would brea the ronin mx (worstcase) would that be covered by warranty?

When you say "break the MX", do you mean if it damages the motor, or if the battery has a negative effect on the power distribution?

That the Ronin Battery has a negative effect on any electronics in the mx. Just want to make absolutely sure that the engineers say this is ok to do.

From what I was able to gather, it wouldn't have a negative power effect on the unit. The only thing is that it could make the unit tempermental to balance, depending on the camera used.
