When entering the battery mode on th IOS App, then enteringteh History mode, I have an entry in Record 06 that states:

"Cell undervoltage protection due to overdischarge"

This text is highighted in red  on the app so I assume this is a bad thing ?

Can Ed Tahoe or someone from DJI shed any light on this.  There is 31 Records in total and everything before and after entyry 06 states  "Normal"

Any reason why the Flight Time has also reamained on 00:00.  I can reply privately  to you Ed if necessary.

GB44,   I have a entry with the same error but what makes this more odd is I just got a new TB48 today and did the history check on it and it already has this error in it and it's never been used by me and not even been charged to full yet.

Vonbaron1-  Total speculation here, but every single TB48 I've purchased so far has also had that error in the battery history.. Grain of salt here- But they probably rapid cycle the battery causing that error before shipping.  In other words, they test the battery before they ship but need to fix that showing up in the battery history. Here is a screen shot from a virgin TB48 I received an hour ago in the mail.

Correct, this should disappear with use. If you continue to see it I would contact support.

Blade,

When you say it should go away, can you clarify how and after how many re-charges or flights ?

Seems like this is a bug - I encountered this message when discharging to below 20% 'at rest' i.e. not flying. I've used the battery 10x now, no problems at all

Ok,

I charged the battery again after a short flight, (Post Flight Charge was 47% remaining).  After re-charging, I installed back into Aircraft and there was a whole host of red text records in virtually every entry.  Switched off aircraft, transmitter and app then powered up all again and all have now dissapeared except for the original record  06 entry  "Cell undervoltage protection due to overdischarge"  which is still there.

So unsure what is going on here.

I will certainly be checking the battery status after the next re-charge.

That record should fall off. Now if you get constant errors about over discharge and your not taking the battery down to the low voltage setting, that's when you could have a problem.

When you say not taking the battery down to the low voltage setting what do you mean.  I thought these batteries were automatic and could be charged at whatever post flight charge remained.

As I said the battery level was 47% when I last charged it.  So unsure if I am doing something wrong here

They can. But you shouldn't see any more logs about over discharge unless you over discharge.

Thanks Blade,

I will keep an eye on the battery record history.

With regard to Over Discharge, what is the minimum % remaining.  The manual simply says discharge untill less than 8%.

Blade, do you work for DJI ?  If so do you have a direct email as I have a few questions about frequency and power that I need answers for to complete a commercial Operations Manual.
