just got a p3 adv
and downloaded the latest formware
updated the p3 and 1 battery

but on the remote it wont update
waited way over 60 seconds like it says but light on controller is red doesnt go blue
i also tried the firmware on another usb drive
but still the same
no log after i take out of remote controller
any ideas

i just turned the controller on and the p3 with the dji go app and it said firmware update for controller needed i updated through app and all is ok

when i turn on the p3 it makes the esc beeps, then it makes 2 beeps then another 2 beeps same beeps as firmware update noise
is this what it should do

just turned it on again and it makes the esc beeps and now it did beep bip bip

You need to remove/erase  the .bin file when your done, or use a different blank disk.

erased the sd card on the pc
and in the p3
after the electronic speed controller beeps
when turned on it still made beep bip bip
then sometimes it will make bip bip when turned on
is this normal now?

Just to verify, you updated both RC and AC successfully already, right?
Now the connection is fine and it functions well?
Can you record a small video showing the bip sound you mentioned?

They do make a sound when you turn then on each time, its normal- I will try to video mine to show it doing this -

It's like R2D2 saying good day...

yes both phantom and controler are updated with latest firmware,and 2 batterys
i flew it today but very windy
and it flew perfect,its very smooth an quiet
might be normal like the other 2 are saying
but just to make sure i will get a vid shortly

whats the loud popping on the iphone vid sound?

any way first vid beeps are at 15 seconds (6 beeps)? and 46 seconds (3 beeps)?
second vid 19 seconds and 56 seconds

some times 6 beeps like in my first vid post above ,at 15 seconds
then most times 3 beeps?  (why 6 then 3?)

just found this video same 3 beeps so this part must be normal (40seconds into video) not the fault noise afterwards
