Hi Phantom guys,

I'm very interested in buying the phantom 4 pro but unfortunately i don't have the necessary device to work it properly, so i was wondering to buy a tablet. The reason behind this is that i prefer spending some money into a tablet that might be useful rather than just a screen for the dji app only.

My two tablets that i have in mind are the Samsung Galaxy tab E and the Samsung Tab A 7 inch, but beforehand i would like to get some feedback from some people who already used these two tablets.

At this moment some of the apps are available for iOS only (including DJI Ground Station Pro), so you may consider that. If your intention is to use the tablet for other purposes then it would be probably reasonable to buy something more advanced, but if you just want to use it with the drone you won't need all the bells and whistles I guess. Another option is to consider P4P+, with a built-in screen, but at this moment you can't install any 3rd party apps on it, or even GS Pro, which really sucks. Some people here recommended Nvidia Shield K1, which has 8" bright screen and 2GB RAM and you can get it for less than $200.

I use MINI4 and IPhone 6S + and both work beautifully...

I have been using my iPhone 6s Plus and want to move up to an iPad mini 4 or iPad Pro 9.7.  Question is, should I spend the extra $120 and get the LTE model that has a built in GPS or would the fact that I can set up a mobile hotspot on my iPhone suffice so that I only need to buy a wifi model iPad? Thanks.

I have the LG v521. Works great.

The tab E has been working well for me. I had to enable usb debugging on it to get a connection 6

To the camera, otherwise it was hit and miss.

Dell XPS 13 is a good choice

I have the iPad mini 4 and don't have any issues! My samsung Galaxy S8 also works fine as well. A couple of other good tablets are the iPad air 2, iPad Pro if you're an apple fan. Alternatively you could try the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 or the NVIDIA Shield K1, although the K1 is expensive nowa days. You can also read this comparison of the some good tablets for the DJI GO app if you're interested.

For 200 dollars you can get the nvidia k1 tablet, works really good.....

My 20¢ worth...iPad works for me. Software seems more robust but personal preference.

All though with s Phantom 3 Pro, My choice also reflects a positive experience with iOS. Using an iPad Air2 Cellular here, and it's great.
