is it ok to use the same ipad to fly 2 phantoms? (not at the same time)
say 2 phantom 4's firt off using dji go 4
is it even possible will the app know the 2 are different e.c.t


or 1 phantom 4 and a phantom 3 ,using with dji go4 p4 and dji go for p3

It's the drone which recognizes the device, not the other way around. So you could theoretically fly your drone with several devices, at different times, and it wouldn't matter.

When you connect  them, the device will understand perfectly. So will the drone.

Some guys prefer to have a different device for each seperate drone, but it's not necessary.
Since you turn on the RC, the AC, & finally the device with app. Yes, the drone finds device & connects automatically.

I love this technology, it's so intuitive...  DJI did a very fine job, of it...

I have a P4 and P3P. I use the same tablet (iPad mini 4), even still with the exact same app DJI GO for both birds.
This was a concern for me. But not anymore. All the settings on each bird are saved individually. Meaning, when I'm flying P4, the app is already customized for P4 and vice versa. I don't make any special/ different changes whatsoever.

That was as of last week. However, I believe I read somewhere that recently DJI GO no longer supports P4. So I might end up with the two separate apps.

if you look at the stat page and swip youll notice that one says the  user and the next will show a phantom ver. ppl wonder why,  one is total for the user the other is for the individual units

my point is yes its designed for it

been using the iphone 5s , but the screen is too small

what about with the 2 p4's if i fly and then my lad flys with the other p4 and im loged into the app
