Hello Inspire 2 User,

Is it normal for the Inspire 2 5.2k video .dng files to preview to be Black and Purple?

I had similar issues with footage appearing too dark and with purple highlights in Premiere. I fixed it using a tool SlimRAW. It works beautifully and as an added "bonus" significantly reduces the size of the video.

Just to clarify, it's just the preview that's acting like this and not the actual picture, correct?

When I record in Cinema .DNG and i want to pull photos from the RAW files,  i can't see the which frame im looking at there all Black and Purple.

Is this normal for the cinema .dng files to look like this, seems wierd to me.

If i take RAW PHOTOS in DNG there fine but when i record 5.2k cinema .dng they look like this.

What should i do,

I have never had this issue with Resolve/AE/PP on Windows.  Seems like a mac issue

Yes, Premiere Pro CC doesn't handle the native CinemaDNG raw on a Mac at this time.  Use Resolve or transcode to ProRes using EditReady or something else.

It's actually not only a Mac problem, it happens on Windows too. As mentioned above slimraw fixes it on both of the platforms.
