Hi I have and have been using my olimpus 14-42 lens on my origional inspire and now on me I2 the thing is I find that thre Panasonic 14-42 lens is now the supported lens for the i2 although I have been useing the Olimpus without any real problems I will puchase tha Panasonic if it is better any one have any opinions

Can confirm that the Olympus 14-42 works on the I2, even though it isn't listed.  It even has a lens profile on the GO4 app.

Have you captured any footage with the Oly 14-42?  Mine seems to be noisy on the I2.  The I1 worked fine.  I also have the Panasonic LUMIX 14-42 and its much more stable for video on the I2 than the Oly14-42 ever was on the I1.  However, the LUMIX has lens distortion and has two different points to balance (lens extended (ie. 14/42) vs lens retracted (ie. mid pt around 27).  You can't balance for both extremes, so you'll have to pick one per flight.

Yeah, the footage isn't the best optically on the Oly 14-42.  I try to stick with the Oly primes as much as I can.  The Oly 14-42 is better for unscripted t.v where getting the shot is more important than IQ.  The zoom is also a much slower lens, so maybe that is where you are seeing noise in low light.
