How do i reset tne RC NPVT 581 to Mode 2 please? The RC does not connect to RC Assistant omy PC.

Mode 2 is set by default, you can change to Mode 1 only by way of the RC Assistant.
Did you download all three softwares:
DJI Win Driver (the other two softwares will not work on the PC without this)
RC Assistant
Phatom Assistant

No please. Am using Phantom and i have downloaded all the required software including the driver installer.

Yes the default is Mode 2. But the RC changed to Mode 1 as soon as i connected it to the RC Assistant.

You must have accidently hit it when you had it connected the first time.  It won't set itself to mode 1 by itself.

Just click on mode 2 and it will stay in mode 2 when you close the program.

Plug your transmitter into your computer and open your RC assistant program.  It's right there at the top.  Have you read the manual?  All that information and a lot more is all in the manual.

The left stick now controls the throttle but also the camera which should not be.

I went to fly yesterday and today. All went well. RC and Phantom working well together.
However the dial is still not controlling the camera except the left stick.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I noticed the 'hate' when your first post on my problem was achieved.

Hi Gerry. Big problem. My copter has dropped twice now. This second one is massive. I lost three rotors and props.
A friend said its because i was not flying in NAZA mode.

Sorry to hear about the crash....
Can you please describe what you mean by "dropped down" ..NAZA mode should have absolutely nothing to do with it dropping down...
Can you also please describe exactly what you were doing when it "dropped down"..

Thanks! I mean that the copter came tumbling down or crash.
I was flying normally in Phantom mode, taking pictures on low altitude.
All calibration down. In fact i landed for a colleague to land his RC plane
before i took off again.
But after about 4 minutes it came down and the battery flew out of it.
