In the opinion of most, is there any advantage to be had in paying the extra money for the "high capacity" batteries?

I have 2 of each for the P4P, and honestly whilst enjoying the flying and photography I'm not checking flight times.  When the 30% low battery warning comes up, I bring it home.  I always fly the 2 high capacity ones first.  So I don't really notice any difference in flying time between the 2 batteries.

Difference is maybe 2-3 minutes more on P4P battery. At least for me...

I get at least 5 extra minutes.  I really like them personally

I have each type and really haven't noticed a big difference in using the higher capacity versions. To me, not worth the extra $ for a couple/few minutes.

That's interesting because I totally notice the difference..  I guess it just depends.

If you do the math, you can get 3 P4 batteries, for the price of 2 P4 Pro batteries. One extra battery provides a whole lot of extra flight time compared to the 2 to 5 minutes of extra flight time per high capacity battery.

I don't use the full capacity, as I always return them when ~40% for recharge from there. It makes more economical sense to me to buy the standard capacity batteries, when I can buy 3 of those for 2 of the high capacity...

I suppose the difference is the same but that it's more significant to you than to me. Opinions.

The reason you'd want them is to get more range.  Yes, you can mod a battery but then you gotta strap on the extra batteries, carry that extra weight, deal with the plugs, wind drag, etc., and this way you just slap the battery in and you're good to go.  So it's a convenience.

Exactly! That's my point about the difference in cost compared to the difference in battery life.
