Sat down with the Litchi mission hub on my laptop last night and composed a waypoint mission, first time. Decided on the area of Lyme and Wood Country Park in Newton-le-Willows. This area encompasses 3 fishing pools run by Newton Angling Club, of which I am a member. Chose this as it is relatively open scrub with the odd tree, burn not exceeding 25m.Flight height was 30m and set the crusing speed to 15 km/h, 1.8 km route, 8 min total flight duration. No lag, no signal loss, no issues.
If you meant was I controlling the camera gimbal, then the answer is no. I set a POI and it's altitude, in the profile, set it to "Focus POI". This mission was set with 8 POI's so I could get the P3S to 'look' where I wanted it to rather than just the view of the path it was flying.

Good job, first one is always difficult letting it out there on its own, wouldn't call it autonomous though, it's actually auto pilot,
Autonomous, auto pilot, just semantics hallmark007
Yes your kind of right... but here is the difference (Pilots would not agree with you)
having autonomy; not subject to control from outside; independent:
An autopilot is a system used to control the trajectory of an aircraft without constant 'hands-on' control by a human operator being required. Autopilots do not replace a human operator, but assist them in controlling the aircraft, allowing them to focus on broader aspects of operation, such as monitoring the trajectory, weather and systems.
Read the book, had the T shirt printed, but thanks for the heads up. I have been using Litchi since the debacle that DJI made of version 3.1.2 Go app. First time using the mission hub though, and yes it is amazing.
