Hi all

Just upgraded the firmware and taken my P3a out for it's first flight of the year and found that it's losing height.

I took it up to about head height and within a couple of minutes it was bouncing around on the floor, it's also noticeable when you fly and stop that it then drops a few feet. I think it was doing this before the firmware update but I was hoping that would fix it.

I also noticed that the altitude reading is wrong, when I landed it on the last flight it landed at 6 meters.

You said "on the floor", are you flying it inside? Does same happen outside? Have you enabled "vision positioning" on dji go app? Try to calibrate IMU.

It's outside, I never fly indoors.

Just did an imu calibration and it's made no difference. Did a test flight and took it up to 2m at which point it started dropping once it was around chest height the vision positioning said 0.9m but the altitude still said 2.2m.

Turn off VPS and try again.  It should hover just fine.

I've spoken to DJI support and they said I need to send it in to be repaired.
