I am in the process of synching a second controller to my Inspire 1 v2 but somehow lost the rc name and connection password of my master controller. How can I retrieve that info? it's required in order to make my Inspire a dual controller unit.

With your mobile device connected to the Master RC and both powered on, The current versions of the DJI GO App should show you this data:

And when you power on the Slave with a mobile device connected, you can select Find Master and it will give you the name of the Master, you will need the password from the Master just as you mention...
