Good day everyone with an Inspire 1 and Zenmuse X3.
I have a problem that I cannot solve. I need to purchase software to stitch my mainly planar projection panoramas or maps, orthomosaics or whatever you want to call it. I use Maps Made Easy and DJI GS Pro to capture the images.
I mainly work with sites involving railway lines - which is mainly straight, for kilometres, as we all know. My problem is, whatever software I work with, these lines are always curved in one way or another.
I have tried Photoshop, Autopano Giga, Microsoft ICE and others from friends and collegues. The only software that has the slightest manner of success, is Agisoft Photoscan Professional, which I cannot afford. The other problem is that the software is more suited to 3D modelling and distorts many straight lines like power lines etc.
I have tried pre-calibrating the lens distortion with Adobe Camera RAW, Photoshop Filters, *.lcp lens correction profiles - you name it. Autopano seems to fail on "viewpoint" and for the others I am not sure.
Autopano

Photoshop & ICE - plus minus 125 pictures
Agisoft - plus minus 39 pictures

I hope someone can help as this is ultra frustrating.
