Just for those who are having the same troubles I was experiencing while trying to play 4K video, shot on Mavic Pro.

My favorite player to play 4K video is DivX. Works like a charm even with 60fps.

Also like to add: researching the best program for video editing, Lightworks is an awesome tool!

I still love VLC Media Player. Handles everything like a boss.

For video editing i bit the bullet and purchased myself an Adobe Premiere Pro CC subscription. Definately worth it.

I didn't think the free version of Lightworks included 4k. In the comparison I looked at, 4k was only in the paid version.

The DJI Mavic Pro recorded 4K video in MOV container with H.264 compression codec, which is native supported by Premiere Pro CC, Final Cut Pro or Sony Vegas Pro, well, you will need a powerful computer that meet the minimum requirements to edit 4K video.
