So i'm in a bit of a "unique" situation. I am currently travelling around the world, and when i got to New Zealand I thought, this country is so dam beautiful. what a great place to fly a drone. So. I bought a mavic pro, and LOVE IT. So straight away I registered for dji care refresh in case of damage, but this doesnt cover you for theft. My existing travel insurance policy, boots, will not cover me for items purchased abroad. So shopping around the only UK insurer that insures gadgets purchased outside of the UK is protect my bubble, but when i spoke to them they were adamant that drones are not eligible for cover, even just theft insurance, even if purchased in the UK.

So the question is, is there a UK insurance provider that will cover a drone not bought in the UK!?
