I have been getting this message during flight after somewhat rough landing on sand on the beach. I did re calibrate the gimble but not working. Any suggestion?

More than likely your gimbal's vibration dampener board is dislocated, in which case you just need to (gently) move it back into the proper position. Take a look at this video and see if it applies to your Mavic:

That's a good point; sand could easily get inside the motors, which could wind up being a very bad thing. On the other hand, if he had crashed onto a harder surface, he'd probably be looking at a detached gimbal at this point.

This works beatifully. Thanks again.

Lesson Learned: Never risk running out of battery. I was on the beach and trying to see how far it could fly. I was running out of battery and slow to bring it back b4 the battery ran out. But It dropped just about 40 meters from me.
