I took my mavic with me on vacation.
Here are some shots of beaches in Florida.
The only problem I had was to find flying spots that had no airport within 5 miles...the mavic was perfect !

Nice work on that video!   Very smooth panning and gimbal motion.  Did you use something like Autopilot or Litchi or was that all done by hand (DJI Go4)?

Good work, what part of Florida where you in? Also did you do any post color correction?

It was all flown by hand. Go4 and no intelligent flight modes.
I shot in Art 0/-1-1 and color-corrected in FinalCut Pro X.

The videos are from Jacksonville to Fort Pierce, our trip actually was from Atlanta to Savannah and then up the coast to Myrtle beach.
We planned to drive to the Smokeys after that but changed our plans due to the weather and went to Florida .

There's some awesome shots in that video. Used to live in atlanta. Should hit gatlinburg area sometime in tennesee. Grand Opry in nashville is good too. I actually hate atlanta, know it like the back of my hand but glad got out of there. I was at the first freaknik. That's right the first one!

The georgia hills are really beautiful though, stone mountain.

Gatlinburg is indeed a cool area! I was there last year and actually planned on driving there this time, but it looked like there would be a severe storm in that area .
Atlanta was strangely empty: We stayed in a hotel downtown and there were almost no people on the streets...
I've never been to Stone Mountain, is it worth it?

I think now that the new firmware is out I will give Litchi a try.

No problem flying Mavic within 5 miles of airport----just call airport and tell them you will be flying, what your altitude and flying radius will be and you are good to go!

I just learned that once you upgrade to the .600 firmware all the Litchi features are working again.

That's good to know! Thanks for the heads-up.
There are so many little airports at the coast.

Just flew the .600 firmware with both the latest Litchi and DJI Go4. Looks fine.
