Love it!  Great camera work in following that hawk.  

Hawks are very intelligent. I was flying my  Mavic with a friend (who also was flying his Mavic) when a hawk flew by and perched nearby and watched both our Mavics fly.  It was about 20 feet from us at one point.  It seemed interested but unconcerned.

Now that's something you don't get to see everyday.

I like it!  I'd also be scared that the hawk would take my Mavic out  lol

That was really amazing.  I can just imaging how excited you were in getting such a good angle and distance from the hawk.  The hawk was totally focused on looking for prey and completely unconcerned about that strange flying thing nearby.  
Amazing how easily these large birds can fly.
I think these drones are really good for nature photography.  Gets you into places you would otherwise never get.

             Beautiful awesome vid ---- I have a lot of hawks by me -- I share the sky with them they don't seem to mind but I was never able to get so close to them --- Beware of Eagles they have no love for the Mavic an try to take it out

Me too, cant believe that Hawk didn't cut the drone in half.

That was amazing! Me not knowing what the hawks do near me I avoid them.

I was loosing my mind! I thought it looked like a video game on my ipad mini. Was completely baffled and could hardly maintain myself.

How much navigation up/down did you have to do to adjust to the hawk's altitude?  Or was it more the hawk adjust his altitude, or a combination?  I'm just curious how you had to navigate to get such a good angle (at times)?

BTW - I think the hawk never had interest or felt threatened by your Mavic, which allowed you to hang in there and get the shot.  I know a lot of people believe a hawk is a likely aggressor to anything else in the sky, but from this instance, it looks that this is not necessarily an automatic reaction.  Instead, it likely depends on the size (in comparison), if the bird of prey considers a Mavic food or a threat to nest/self........

That is really cool. I see the videos of the birds attacking drones and amazed with the great footage you got without any problems.
