Have you completed the FW updates as of today?  They fixed some of the camera / gimbal issues that have been reported out there.  IMU and compass calibration would be a good start after the FW updates.

The other thing to try is another set of props, it almost looks like a balance issue to me.

this is the post regarding my camera centering issue

Keep us posted

Sorry you having troubles

Hello Rich,

I just did both calibrations but not the FW update - will do now and try tomorrow -

Not sure it is props - that begets more of a jello effect - this is something more

But then you may be right - tomorrow Ill be scientific and test all possible scenarios and report back

thanks so much !!!

Okay so I did the following

- new props
- updated firmware
- calibrated gimbal
- calibrated IMU

issue okay when flying forward, slightly noticeable when hovering though very bad if tracking sideways or backwards

even tried with sensors off and on - no difference

has anyone else had troubles flying backwards ??

Thanks

If you have nothing blocking the gimbal or its movements, or if you weren't flying in gusts of > 50kph,  send the craft in. It happens rarely but it appears you have a defective aircraft. Get a replacement.

This is not firmware, software, app or whatever else.

The P4P gives totally stable images normally even in significant wind. Does not matter which direction you are flying.

Thanks Mike-the-cat - it appears so.

I have nothing but praise for DJI - even the 330 ! they test all their crafts and i have pushed previous models well beyond the suggested limits with only perfect results

I have contacted the supplier and will get a switch-a-roo

thanks for your reply
