I have my Mavic since a couple of weeks and I am pretty entusiast. But...
In nearly 50 flights I experienced 3 dji go 4 app crashes in different days.
My cell is galaxy s5. USB debug mode not activated. No other app running.

The first one: the app was not responding to the touch screen. Phone reboot and ok!
The second one: app simply crashed. App reboot and ok!
The third one... very bad, app says "disconnected", app reboot? No success. phone reboot? No success.
Returned home ok, via remote controller (a bit scary, bird was not perfectly VLOS).
Any idea?

Have you tried enabling USB debug mode?  Not that you should have to.  Try disabling audio record for the video...if you were recording at the time?

I now enabled USB debug (was not). I'm convincing myself that the problem of the last and worst app crash was cell phone storage (it was >95% ... very bad)

I was flying calmly with my mavic when it seems to me that I lost the signal and the control. The mavic eventually crashed into a tree. Could someone help me to learn more about my problem? How do I know what might have happened?

Contact DJI and ask them to look into the flight log files.
