I know this has been dicussed before, but the inconsistency I'm seeing is unsettling.

I was having problems with DJI GO 4 crashing -the app not the aircraft!- on my Nexus 5 phone (Android 6.0.1). I got an Nvidia Shield K1 tablet (Android 7.0). At first I was seeing crashes but it seemed to stabilize, until today when I was averaging 2-3 app crashes per battery. The app doesn't freeze, it just stops working and closes. I'm running DJI GO 4 version 4.0.7.

Any thoughts?

How does the stability/usefulness of Litchi or other apps compare?

Try IOS if you can and see if you have the same issues!

I just noticed something interesting. The app appears to reset to Phantom 4 Advanced sometimes. I hadn't noticed this. I reset it to Pro but when I rebooted it was set back to Advanced. I reset it again and reboot and this time it stayed at Pro.  I wonder if that could have any bearing on the crashes I'm seeing.

Downgrade to Android 6 for a better (though not perfect) experience.
