Dear all,

I was wondering whether you dronepilots still have the same problem as me with a distortion when developing a RAW photo (as seen in the image) in Affinity Photo. So my question was, what programs can i use to fix this destortion? I Know that Lightroom is able to fix this, but are there any other program that I can use?

Kind regards and fly safe!

Edwin

Do you have a filter fitted?

That looks to me like the edges of a filter holder encroaching on the lens and causing vignetting.

If you want to straighten the horizon I do that in Photoshop using Edit > Transform > Warp

He's used a program to show the raw image before correction has been applied to deal with barrel distortion and vignetting.

So don't use Affinity Photo.
Use Photoshop or Lightroom.
Or you could just deal with the jpg files and have no issue to worry about.

The big benefit of using a different software is that you have more detail in the frame. ( its not cropped ).
And if you know how to remove this dark corners and distortion you can do a better job than processing is doing onboard the aircraft.

If you not bothered, use Lightroom as Labroides said
