With the Phantom 4 updates happening, I'm getting a bit anxious with my Phantom 3 Professional.
When I pull out and set up to fly, I'm seeing everything is up to date, but I'm worried about getting out on location and THEN finding out there was one and for some reason it wasn't seen and then have to go through everything away from home and internet.
What is the latest P3P update and how can I find out if there is one available?

Latest P3P update was released on 11/12/2016 and was version 1.10.90.  The latest downloads are available on the downloads page on the DJI.com website.

I haven't used my P3P since last fall. It was working fine when I put it away for the winter. I charged it up and the engines won't start. I do have the latest firmware 1.10.90. I also have the DJI Go app version 3.1.5. This app may have been downloaded after I packed drone away. Are these 2 firmwares compatible? The RC seems to be ok. Says "safe to fly" but no engine start either by stick or auto take off.

I use these 1.10.90 and 3.1.5 as well - & they work perfectly - there must be another issue - maybe try to recalibrate the sticks on the RC with the GO app,

Are you getting any error/message on the App screen when you try to start the motors?

No error message at all.

Having same troubles. The app version is the only thing different. It only shows how to connect. I tried to update aircraft. Wouldn't take.

nope. I format sd cards and have tried all versions on the dji website. none of them take. finally called support waste of time. I hung up. thinking about sending it to a repair facility. BS  it all worked last summer. app updated to 3.1.11 and it don't work anymore. not really thrilled with DJI. I'm a long time heli pilot and have done many firmware upgrades and never dealt with this kind of crap.
