DJI Go iOS App update killed RC connection

I updated the iOS app today, and I can no longer connect my iPhone 7 Plus (iOS 11.0.3) to my P3P. It just sits on the “How to Connect” page, and never shows the “Camera” button. As soon as I plug in my iPad, which is on the previous iOS app and 11.0.2, it instantly connects!

Anyone else having this issue?

Please try to re-install the APP or refresh the OS to see whether it helps.

Yes, updated yesterday and it’s disconnecting constantly.  I won’t attempt to fly at the moment.

Have you tried what the Susan suggested? I would recommend you have a try.

Yes!  I tried what Susan suggested and it made things worse.  Before I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I could get into the "Camera" screen, and try to click "Re-link" and things like that, but it still would say "Disconnected" and I was not actually able to interact with the P3P.  After the app reinstall, all I see is the "How to Connect" button, and no matter what I do I can't get any further than that.  I am running the latest OS on my phone, so there isn't any "refresh" I can do to the OS, other than reboot it (which I tried several times).

Just to clarify, the issue is with my iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 11.0.3, and DJI Go 3.1.18.  If I plug in my iPad Pro on iOS 11.0.2 and DJI Go 3.1.15, it connects instantly.

According to your description, it should be related with the mobile OS. Therefore, I recommend you to connect with iTunes and refresh it.

That didn't help!  This is an issue with the DJI Go App.  Perhaps related to iOS 11, but definitely an app issue!

I am not sûre that its linked to ios’ cause I have the same connexion issue with 2 iPad 1 iPhone but also with a Huawei P9.
The only difference is that the huawei starts charging while connected to the rc

I have same issue to connect my iphone 8 (ios 11.0.3) to RC, the screen was blank. Hope DJI can solve this problem as soon.

I discovered this morning that I have the same problem with my iPhone6. Wanted to fly this morning, but my phone refused to connect via RC to the Mavic Pro. Tried the Wifi option and that works ok, only RC does not work. I flew earlier this week with the same version of the DJI Go app. The only thing that has changed is an update of my iPhone to iOS 11.0.3.

When I came home I tried it one more time, but again no connection. Then I switched to my iPad which is still on iOS 11.0.2 and I immediately had a connection to the drone.

Looks like there is some issue with the latest iOS 11.0.3 release in combination with the current DJI Go app. Hope DJI can fix this soon.

That's a shame because it might still be a while before 11.1 will be available. Just about to go to Vietnam on holiday - guess won't be able to bring the Mavic with me :-(

I just completed a full reinstallation and restore of the iPhone and to my surprise the Mavic is connecting again. If others have this problem, it might be worth a try (although it takes a considerable amount of time ....)

problem because you guys removing the "iTunes Store" Apps, dji go p3 series nees itunes store and or dji go 4 app, trying to download iTunes Store and Or The DJI GO 4, hope it helps
