Captain, I thought I explained it, they made me buy a new controller only because I had modified mine with a Itelite DBS Extender and voided my warranty, they also told me via phone call there was nothing wrong with my controller but would not return it to me, so thats why I'm so mad, I believe you would be to sir.
So you admit voiding your warranty - yet you still sent it back?
Did you expect DJI would give you a new one by any chance, for free?
Did you clarify in writing first before sending away, that you would receive your controller back if there was no fault found or the likes?
If you voided the warranty - then why did you not take your controller to a 3rd party repair specialist?
Seems you are ranting at DJI for your mistake.
Sure - customer service can always be improved - but when you admit to having voided your warranty - and probably not reading the small print, regarding repair returns - then who is to blame?
As for DJI making you buy a new controller - did they frog march you up to the store counter and 'make' you buy a new one - or were they standing behind you in a menacing way - and 'make' you buy a new controller online?
End of the day, you modified your controller. You broke it. No warranty replacement or freebie repair.
Did you ask them to repair the controller at your own cost?
Please don't think I'm trying to take the pi55 here - but I'm sure I am not the only one wondering if there is more to this. |
