There are 2 screws on each joint cover, just undo those, the covers come off and the jaws just fall off then

I swapped the Mavic Air's and the Magic PRO's remote clamps and now I have the CS on the Mavic Air

It certainly would be nice to know from DJI if they have any intention of releasing a bracket for the mavic air.

Woohoo!  Thx for the tip Lannes!

I received my controller parts from the link you posted and installed them.

I did have a question for both you and Elektrica Atellani....Did you plug the CS cable into an adapter and then into the side of the controller?  Or did you shoehorn into the regular USB port on the bottom of the controller?  That seems to be an unhealthy fit.  Lannes, I can't really tell from your photos here.

Just wondering....

Cheers...

Yes, it's a unnatural bend on the cable integrated into the DJI Mavic CS mount to get it to fit into the bottom port of the controller.

DJI assure me the cable can handle it, the trick is to put the usb plug into the controller first and then screw on the mount to the retaining bar

Thanks again Lannes...

As mentioned I received my new arms and installed them.

Instead of making the cable do the unnatural bend, I used the 3 inch pigtail that came with my Phantom 4 Pro which is a regular USB female on one end and a micro USB on the other.   Works like a champ and hopefully prolongs the life of my cable without the crazy bend.

Thx for the tip!

Cheers...

Here I've used my P4P cable to prevent crazy bends.

I am using this one and am very happy with it. Very solid and costs less than a third of the Mav Mount:

Wgere can i buy the mount?

Just do a search on Amazon -DJI CrytalSky mount for Mavic- and you will easily find it. And Polar Pro have an excellent mount for Crystal Sky as well now, a bit more expensive but looking more solid and better too.

This adapter widens the screw receptacles and you can mount without any changes to RC
