And today, when I pass by I can not help it but stop and repeat the flight, but it was really windy (up to 42 km/h) so I made it shorter and lower but saw some blinks on camera - when first raindrops hit me I finally realize that Mavic was crossing rain  - I bring it back and put it in the car before the rain hits - No problems - I got lucky

I know this one - very nice movie style don't do it yourself
Nothing like this - my Mavic cross some light drizzle before the real rain began (and it was good rain )
But nevertheless, Mavic is a hero - and for a countless time, I realize I see Nothing on my iPad - not a rain, not even the horses at 1:25-1:35 ;)

Remarkable endurance from the quad. You were indeed lucky it survived - even if the battery did not.

Lots of trees!  Yes the raindrops can clearly be seen slanting across the view at one point. Glad you got the drone back safely.

This is the  video  that convinced me I wanted a Mavic Pro.
I have a copy of it and I show those who want to get a Drone that the DJI ones are the most reliable ones in my view.

Back in the time when I was paragliding - that was my favorite part - close to the ground - and especially when flying from ridge to  ridge and passing several centimeters over the ridge and than in few meters being several hundred meters above the ground - memories
