I've got the P4P+ V2  How do I find the maps for my area? Please!

When you have your rc and drone running, tap MapView on the screen.

Scroll around to your immediate area, then pinch squeeze to make the map bigger, closer.
Slide the map to your planned flight area and move the map around beyond your intended flight route.

Do you have a Cache Map In Background tab, that must be turned to On?

Hi Capt'n I've got the + controller and if I tap that part, it is featureless with a red dot  and San Roque where I am, but if I click on the square icon where the satellite and hybrid nothing happens

I take it I should be outside when I do it not sitting in doors. But it's over 30 degrees out there. Thanks for your help

You need your wifi connection to load the maps. So probably best doing that indoors.
That is,  unless you have a SIM card and active data plan... ;-)

I’m not sure what’s going on with the +...


A forum mod or someone with more experience in that drone model, will surely chime in.

It makes no difference which device he's using.

I'm sorry to have to ask but .... Do any of the moderators know anything about flying a Phantom?

Nope. Look where he/she is from.

Not defending those statements, which are getting very familiar.

They do use pat replies, obviously by the DJI book of forum etiquette..  ;-p

At least there is a response.

I am unaware of the V2.0 +controller but perhaps you can get something out of those old threads.
Should they have re-implemented download for offline use, this thread might give a clue how to get the maps.
Have they not yet got it working again then this one hopefully can show the way?
