Hi

First post here for my mavic air!

I usually just do video with the drone but in one of my flight, I wanted to take some pictures. I noticed that the drone was only taking an image out of 10. When I clicked on the remotes photo button or the phone onscreen button, I noticed that the drones light were not flashing when pressing. I needed to press repeatedly to finally have one.

Drone was very close to me, few meters... never had this behaviour with videos. Am I missing something?

What SD card are you using ?

Not sure if this card is going to be fast enough, when you pressed shutter/photo button did the button turn grey and a circle moving around it. If so then this usually is a sign that card is to slow.

Ok so it’s probably not card, maybe dji Natalia suggestion might help.

I may be wrong on this (it's been awhile since I've tried), but are you trying to take a photo while you're also recording video? If my old brain remembers correctly, I think you have to stop video recording to take a photo.

If you are in video mode click photo button just switch to photo mode. The photo button will work when after switch to photo mode.

Yes exactly. First time it switches then next it takes photos. But I was already in photo mode. Will fly the drone tomorrow and give you an update

Worked perfectly today! Weird.

Maybe I switched something last time by error....

Think I had similar problems when I first got the MA was user input error...
