Hi, I saw a few posts about this but wanted to check again.

My x5s has some dust behind the glass that protects the sensor and also inside the lens.. DJI has quoted me $1000 AUD to replace the lens and $1800 AUD to replace he camera holder module. This is the essentially the same price as a new x5s, lens and gimbal. I find this ridiculous that they can't take the camera apart and clean it much like any other camera. It should cost a fraction of this. The drone wasnt flown anywhere excessively dusty but either way, dust on getting on sensors is common and there should be a simple cost effective way to fix this

Has anybody else had this issue and did they clean the dust out?

Thanks!

They look like big lumps of dirt (Dust 2).

I think that if they sealed inside  the glass protection filter they should do it for nothing - it's dirt that's been in there since manufacture, surely?
The lens could probably be cleaned out very easily by a lens repair company for less than £150.

Bad luck anyway.
