So I have been struggling to get my RC to connect to Beta Flight the last few days. I have the F4 HD Stack and the RC and air unit are both linked. In my ports tab, I have UART 5 on for Serial Rx and for UART 1 I have MSP on. In the configuration tab, I have my receiver set to SBUS but when I save and reboot and go into my receiver tab I still have no movement. Also, I do have the RC plugged into a battery.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Like I said I have been struggling with this for the last few days, and I just want to be able to get flying.

[EDIT] My bad, The Futaba SBUS trick is for Kiss FC. Sorry.

I do have my receiver set to Sbus in the configuration tab, but I still don't get anything

can you give a screenshot ?

Do you have serial RX activated?

Have you specified Futaba Sbus instead of FrSky ?

I believe so. I have It checked for UART 5 in the ports tab.

on the SBUS drop down menu you should find a futaba sbus one

Are the settings in your googles set to normal and not in sbus fast protocol ? In that case try to switch to normal.

Or if you have the latest betaflight you should be able to set fast mode in your googles and in BF

I do not have the fast DJI HDL option in my goggles under the protocol, only normal and SBus baud fast which both still dont work

Just looked through it, and I have done everything and it still doesn't work. One person said it was a bad air unit, but before I order a new one I would want to confirm that that is the problem, is there anyway I could do that?

Sorry to read that you're still stuck.

I had the chance to connect to my quad this morning and I have the same setting as you.
Serial Based and "just" SBUS. not even Futaba SBUS...

I had the same issue because on the Telemetry column I did had somethind activated at the same time as the RX cursor was ON but it's not the case on your side.

You can maybe check if it's not soft serial feature related...

I've amended some of my previous comments because the Futaba SBUS info was wrong on Betaflight. It's related to Kiss Fc.
