Dear DJI community,

Following a small crash (less than 1m high) , I lost my gimble face cover (the part that reads "E 24 F 1.7").

Would replacing this tiny front cover possibly fix the errors I am now getting : "gimble stuck", "gimble motor overload", "obstacle avoidance disabled"?

Although I can move the gimble with my fingers in all directions and I can see the video stream clearly, I am unable to calibrate nor move the gimble using the controller's wheel.


I also wanted to know the typical cost for a repair of this sort through DJI repair center. I am not looking for a committed quote but rather a typical cost so I can make a decision.

If I send back for repairs, do I need to unscrew the props?


Finally, if I was to buy a new mini 3, would it work with my RC with screen? The online store states that the drone can be used with the RC-N1 controller but there is no mention of the RC with screen.

I would say it's more than just the face cover.  That's just a snap on piece, that can be replaced with filters.

I have seen a DJI web page that gives ballpark figures for some repairs.  Let me see if I can it.  **Edit** Try this page:  https://repair.dji.com/repair/price-inquiry

You can drop/re-pair the RC from the aircraft (or a new one) at any time.

As you're in the UK.
I remember watching a Geeksvana YouTube video about the internal parts of the Mini 3.
If you look in the info section of the video linked below, there's a company in the UK that repairs drones (I've no experience of using them, just passing on the info).
