Hello,
I'm going to be travelling from Florida, USA to Ireland later this month with my new DJI Mini3Pro. Nice drone! I am interested in steps I should take now to prevent problems later. I only intend to fly for pleasure taking pictures of our family and the Ireland landscape, cliffs, etc.
1. For instance, how does one get insurance to fly drones in Ireland from Florida (online perhaps?)
2. Is there an FAA equivalent in Ireland I need to register myself and/or my drone with? I have a 107 license for the USA. My drone is under 250 grams.
3. How do I keep some over eager unknowledgeable TSA, airport or airline security or customs official from confiscating my nifty new Mini3Pro? Needed paperwork, etc.?
4. Is there a way to see what the no fly zones are in Ireland ahead of time? I have the DJI RC Controlle with stock GO FLY. There are no Irish maps in it as far as I can tell.
TIA for any info, tips and do's and don'ts!
