I love looking at old buildings. This was from our Goldfields trip. The Marvel Bar Hotel is on Bayley Street, Coolgardie, and was originally  a single-story iron and weatherboard building, but then demolished and  replaced with the current two-story brick and iron building in 1898. It  was considered "grand" in its heyday. It was severely damaged by a  cyclone in 1916, then bought by Michael Moran for ₤160 and restored. But  I think it's overdue for another makeover.
No one knows where the name "Marvel Bar" came from

According to the FB page for the RSL club (Returned Service League) that owns it, they collected over $200k for refurbishing it in 2012.
Maybe the collectors went AWAL

Most probably does.    However, that sure could buy a lot of nice camera equipment and drones if the perpetrator so desired.
