Hi,
I have a phantom 3 professional running the latest firmware. I recently noticed in my videos I was getting a strange encoding artefacts, it started happening on still images as well. Tihs is what the video footage looked like
and here is the still image
I contacted support and they helpfully told me that the camera is not DJI's problem and to contact GoPro! I checked the forums but havent seen anyone with a similar problem. Does anyone know what might be causing it, is it a firmware or hardware issue?
I have the same issue. I received my P3P last week. I would be interested to see if someone has a solution to this or if someone at DJI can respond. See attached youtube video.
Wow rgrimal12, that is much worse than my one. I have tried opening the video and image in different software packages and I see the same issue. It must be the encoding, not the player. I heard back from DJI and they said they will need me to send my phantom off to get repaired. I am doing a lot of filming at the moment so I will learn to live with it.
That's not something you can live with. I've seen that before, but it was corrupted files in my case. Had to do with bad copy/pasted from memory card to computer or over network to storage.
Just a small point. If you always copy the images from the SD card, or cut and paste them, you may eventually get this problem. The best course of action once you have copied the images from the card it to re-format the card in the camera.
