The controller will not completely recharge - the process stops with only 3 steady lights, or 70% capacity. Unpluging and repluging in the charger brick restarts the charging process for just a few seconds and then shuts off.
Does anyone have any idea how to coax to a full charge?

Had the same issue with my new P4. I was told to leave it charging for at least 24hrs, which I did. This never fixed the problem. P4 was replaced with new one.

May I know when you purchased it?
You notice the problem after a firmware update or not?
The charger is working fine and batteries can be charged without problems, right?
Besides, what's the remote SN?

P4 purchased 4 weeks ago in Australia. I had not done any any updates at that stage. The charger was working fine with charging the aircraft batteries. I have had the P4 replaced and everything is working great. I do not know what the serial numbers were.

I have the same issue.
P4 purchased in 10/2016 in Vietnam. This prolem before firmware update, the charger was working fine with charging the aircraft batteries.
