Having some issues with maps I reset the P4P+ to defaults (via the Android Reset screen).  Now, though connected to a working WiFi network I can not sign back into the DJI app.  It just keeps telling me the Network is Unavailable (even though it is there).

HELP!  Now what?

Oh goodie.... glad to see I'm not alone..... at the moment I have a very nice paperweight - as I can't fly until I can log into the controller, and DJI support is closed until Monday... UGH!  I'm scheduled to do some shooting Monday afternoon, this is not good.   I've got an incredible love hate relationship going on right now.

And as far as I understand, because I have the P4P+, I can't even go around this and use an iPad or something else.

I'm having a similar issue where I have no maps.  Settings look OK but in map at the bottom left is Chinese writing.  Some parts of the GO app don't appear to recognize the wireless.  Screwed with it for 4 hours and just can't seem to bring up a Map.

You mean like the login part???   I can't even fly this thing now - very expensive brick.  The app won't let me log in and thus I can't even get off the ground.

Same Problem.  Started yesterday.  I had the day planned around flying, and can't get past the DJI login screen.  Won't accept login Email nor Password.  Website works fine.  I too couldn't get maps, but this problem started before I did a p4p+ reset to get the maps. Damn Frustrating!  When all is working, I'm really pleased with controller and fixed screen as well as flight characteristics, but this software sure seems iff so far.  Also must state that last week I had a problem of no camera view.  I did the firmware update - no problems but still no camera view.  I spent two hours on DJI Chat support only to finally be told to send it back to them for repairs (2 to 3 weeks).  Next day, I searched through the various screens and under system and scrolling down, found that there was also a System Update available.  I did that, and presto - I had my camera view back and was able to fly for about an hour for the first time.

Now this problem!!!  Not a good start and seemingly mainly "software" related.

I'm not sure this is easily fixable. I am able to login on my iPhone if I load the go app.

This would seem to indicate to me it's a root software issue on the controller.

Not sure how that gets fixed easily. :/

If you have the P4P+ (built in screen) just swipe down from the top of the screen and it will give you the log in screen so you can reconnect with your wifi network and log back into DJI.

This is *not* a connectivity issue. I have connected to three different wifi networks and verified I have IP addresses.

This is some sort of fundamental issue with the software or server.

It won't even let me create a new account or retrieve a password. It's always "Network Unavailable".

Same problem here. A sunday wasted because this App doesn´t let me in. This is unaceptable. They have a server proble and we can not fly ... I don't like it.

I work in IT. Surely there is someone on call that should be getting alarms for something as serious as this, no?

So this is interesting...  I decided to start dumping network traffic.

Upon trying to log-in I see a bunch of traffic flying back and forth, but clearly things don't complete.

The silence from DJI is horible.  I wonder if they even know they are having issues.  Simply letting us know they are aware would do wonders for their customer service perception.  Right now we don't even know if they know.  Who knows?  lol

So this is really odd... if you https://198.11.169.131  (which is an Alibaba IP) it goes to Skypixel... but you'll note the SSL certificate is invalid).  I'm wondering if this is why the login is failing.

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 198.11.169.131 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Or I suppose it could be because I'm going in via IP address.  Interestingly I can log into that IP.

Now... I'll expect payment for my troubleshooting.  DJI, you can PM for where to send it.

If you use the proper address it's fine and resolves to the same IP.

Obviously this is a major hiccup.

I remember something like this happening over the past year but I can't remember the details.  I do remember that DJI didn't say a word during the outage, but it was resolved in a couple days IIRC.

I am sure DJI is working hard to resolve the problem.  I think the best thing to do is resign yourselves to the fact that you will have to wait for a new firmware update from DJI.  I'm gonna guess 24-48 hours.

Uhhhh... woah.. wait... why would a new firmware update be required for something that was working and now broke?  I am not going to have a $2k brick sitting around.  If they can't fix this it's going back to the R/C shop as defective.

The other possibility is that DJI in China is having connection issues and their servers are down. It happens to companies all the time. And don't forget, they do not work on weekends.

I don't work on weekends either -- unless something breaks.  If something breaks someone needs to be responsible for fixing it.  Especially something that is broken and affects people all over the world.  This is also a good reason why they should have diversified servers (Amazon Web Services, Azure, etc) for US customers, and others in different areas.

Did firmware update on drone today and after that no image form camera and error message on screen of NO SIGNAL. The Drone was still ablae to obtain home point and fly via sticks, but with out camera image did not test it to far away just very short flight.  Found out there was a update for my p4p+ controller and did that update.  After doing update via sd card on controller asked me to sign in to account.  I keep getting error message of  NETWORK NOT AVAILBLE.  I used various hotspots and wireless hubs that work on other devices and controller shows good signal strength on connections with the hotspots, but keep getting error message NO NETWORK AVAILABLE CHECK YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION.  This day started off nice but with a few simple firmware updates went form bad to worst. With out signing into my account with my controller will not open DJI Go app. I hope some one can help tomorrow and takes a call at DJI.

They have a world class product but 3rd world support.  I thought it was getting better but maybe not.  Even worse now that I'm required to logon to their servers to fly.  I moaned about it before it was put in place and I was right.  If people can't rely on the equipment to work they'll stop buying it.  What have I been doing while the craft has been down?  Flying my Typhoon H.  It works, anytime, anywhere.

Its the other way around, Chinese government require overseas company to have their web server located in China (if they want to do business in China).

I know for a fact this is not the case.  I do business with another Chinese telecom company which does business in both China as well as the U.S. and they have servers in China for their Chinese customers and on the Amazon cloud for their U.S. customers.

Re-Reading your comment... you are correct - but DJI should have their cloud services diversified... for example with such a large U.S. base there should be something running on Amazon or Azure to host here.
